Joy to the World

Can this world be a place of blessing?  Can the curse be washed away?

“No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor thorns infest the ground.  He comes to make His blessings flow, far as the curse is found.” (1)

Do: tend the garden overgrown with weeds of sin and sorrow.  Prepare the soil and plant the good seed.  Jesus is the good seed.

Believe: His blessing supplants the ancient curse.  Weeds and brush replaced with living, growing, enduring beauty and fruit.  None of this redeemed garden remains under the curse.  All will be covered by His blessing.

“He rules the world with truth and grace, and makes the nations prove the glories of His righteousness and wonders of His love.” (1)

How can these things be?  How can they NOT be?

Wait, hope and watch the proof unfold.
